SuG have just released their last single "Koakuma Sparkling", which ranked 7th within the ORICON Weekly Ranking as of July 12th as they are already heading out with their next piece. From this month on their new song "R.P.G.~Rockin' Playing Game" will be airing as the new opening song for TV Tokyo anime "FAIRY TAIL", as the band is presenting a its typical punk-ish pop sound in a fresh way. While the track is already available for mobile download, the CD release is scheduled for the first of September.
Moreover, Shimokawa Mikuni is now responsible for the new ending theme of "FAIRY TAIL" with her song "Kimi ga iru kara", which has finally been released on July 21st. Seen as a queen of anime songs, Shimokawa is looking back on 11 years since her debut. The new single had been born from the lines "Even if we don't have a place to return to together, don't worry...I just want to protect this smile", arranged to a fresh message song.
With SuG heading out to their performance in Singapore on July 31st and Shimokawa Mikuni being well known and respected for her anime songs in overseas as well, the anime "FAIRY TAIL" has certainly a great line up of songs to be popular among foreign fans as well.
