Genericon, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's annual student-run anime, science fiction, and gaming convention, announced its final batch of guests today. Staffers at the convention, which will be held on the weekend of February 11-13, 2011, welcome Vic Mignogna and Anime World Order to the long-running con.

Vic Mignogna is a prolific anime voice actor and convention personality, most well known for his role as Edward Elric in the hit series Fullmetal Alchemist. Over the course of his long career in voice acting, music, and film production, he has played other fan-favorite characters like Tamaki Suou in Ouran High School Host Club and Broly in Dragon Ball Z, produced music for TV and radio, and worked on the web series “Star Trek Phase II” as an actor and director. Mignogna will be presenting a Q&A panel as well as a panel on faith and an autograph session.

Anime World Order is a team of three Florida-based anime podcasters: Daryl Surat, Gerald Rathkolb, and Clarissa Graffeo. In the past six years, Anime World Order has gained a reputation for their vast critical and historical insight on anime and manga (two of them even write for Otaku USA Magazine!), as well as the entertaining chemistry of the three hosts. Genericon is proud to present all three hosts, who will be presenting a series of anime-related panels this February.

With this final addition, Genericon brings its guest count to five: anime podcasters Anime World Order, independent animators For Tax Reasons, anime voice actor Vic Mignogna, otaku comedian Uncle Yo, and punk band Uzuhi.
