The March issue of Takeshobo's Monthly Manga Club magazine is announcing on Friday that a second anime project based on saxyun's four-panel Yurumates manga has been green-lit. The gag comedy centers on Yurume, an 18-year-old rōnin — a high school graduate who has yet to be accepted into college. Yurume moves to the outskirts of Tokyo to study for the next entrance exams. She ends up living in Maison du Wish, an apartment complex full of aimless "veteran rōnin" who have been out of school for years.
To celebrate the new anime project, Takeshobo will be taking pre-orders for a special edition of the third manga volume that will bundle a Be@rbrick figure. The first anime project with Halko Momoi in the starring role shipped on a preview DVD in March of 2009, followed by a full DVD the month after.
