NIS America have released the first debut trailer of Bleach: Soul Resurrección for the PS3. The game features fan favourite characters Ichigo, Rukia, Ishida and more with a total of 21 playable characters from the anime and manga.
"There are numerous anime-based games, but many fall short in gameplay," said NIS America producer Jack Niida. "Bleach: Soul Resurrección faithfully represents the anime series with its beautiful cel-shaded graphics and combines it with amazing gameplay."
While the game looks a lot like Dynasty Warriors, fans are assured that there will be plenty of gameplay features to satisfy even the hardcore. "The game style is simple enough for action game beginners, yet has enough features to satisfy hardcore players. The game follows the battle against the evil Arrancars, yet has enough features to satisfy hardcore players," he explained.
Features include, as mentioned earlier, 21 playable characters from the anime/manga. A "massive free-roaming action/adventure game with beautiful anime-inspired cel-shaded graphics," various game modes and a customization/levelling system that'll let fans unlock new abilities through a customized "character map" unique to each character. The game is out August 2011 in North America followed by a September release in Europe and other PAL regions.
