FUNimation Entertainment today announced that it has acquired the home entertainment, digital, and merchandise rights to the “Fafner” anime series and movie. The series focuses on a group of children who pilot the titular Fafners in a war against the Festum—giant aliens who destroyed much of the world. The movie takes place two years after the end of the original series.
