Fans of Japanese animation age 11 through adults are invited to the Albany Public Library’s Anime Club meeting from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the main branch, 2450 14th Ave. S.E. Members meet monthly on varying days and times to play Yu-Gi-Oh and other games, share books, practice drawing in the Japanese style, and meet others with similar interests. At this month’s meeting attendees may also help paint the clay figures that were made at last month’s meeting. Participants are encouraged to come in costume and to bring snack foods and drinks to share. Anime Club meetings are free of charge, and no registration is necessary.
